La Liga has announced the postponement of the fourth match of the first round, between Celta Vigo and Osasuna. According to Mundo Deportivo, the match will be played on Thursday, August 27 at 8:30 PM. The decision was made after an inspection of the playing field carried out by La Liga, which detected a fungus affecting the surface of Celta Vigo's Balaidos stadium. Currently, Andoni Gorosabel and Dani Vivian are injured. La Liga no longer needs to wait for the Spanish Football Federation to make decisions, as it obtained full authority in mid-last season. La Liga has confirmed that the postponement was made in coordination with the Spanish Football Federation and both clubs. Three other first-round matches had already been postponed before the start of the season next Saturday: Valencia against Real Betis, Real Madrid against Real Sociedad, and Barcelona against Athletic Bilbao.
